Time doesn’t have to move at the default pace on your Hytale server. Speeding it up or slowing it down can completely change how your world feels whether you want longer days for building or faster cycles for testing and events. In this guide, we’ll show you how to adjust the speed of time on your Hytale server, so it moves at a pace that fits your gameplay.

Using the Control Panel

1. Navigate to your Nodecraft Dashboard.

2. Click the Panel button for your Hytale server.

3. Locate and click Console in the menu on the left side.

4. Use the following command to change the speed of time:

/time dilation <timeDilation>

timeDilation: number between 0.01 and 4.0

Numbers less than 1 would slow down time, whereas numbers greater than 1 would speed it up.

Note: Commands can also be run in-game when you are opped.
