How to Add Admins to The Forest
To log in as an admin in The Forest, you'll need to configure your server and use an admin password. Here's a detailed guide to help you through the process:
Set the Admin Password
If you have access to Nodecraftâs Control Panel, follow the Nodecraft Pro steps. If not, skip ahead to the Edit server.cfg
File section.
Nodecraft Pro
Click on the âGame Settingsâ tab on the left-hand side, then click the âAdvancedâ tab near the top.
Locate the âAdmin Passwordâ setting, provide a password you want to use, and then click âSubmitâ at the bottom of the panel.
Edit the Server.cfg
File
Locate your serverâs server.cfg
file, this will be where your serverâs -configfilepath
is set to.
At Nodecraft, you can find this file in the Main Folder of the âServer Filesâ tab.
Select the file and click the âEditâ button.
Find the serverPasswordAdmin
setting, add your desired password, and then âSave Changesâ.
Start the Server
