Palworld: Tides of Terraria is Ready to Explore

Palworld’s newest update brings a whole new level of adventure and it's here with a pixel-powered twist. A collaboration with Terraria is at the frontline, but it's just one part of this massive update! With a new raid boss, island biomes, trust mechanics, and even new language support, this update is ready to change up your Palworld experience. Did we mention there's fishing?

A character with a backpack and fishing rod stands on a sandy shore, fishing in a calm, expansive body of water with distant cliffs.

The Moon Lord Has Arrived

A new dungeon has appeared, crawling with classic Terraria enemies and full of exclusive materials. You’ll need them to craft six new weapons and seven armor pieces that bring Terraria’s style into the world of Palworld.

That dungeon is also home to the Moon Lord, a massive new raid boss that’s ready to ruin your day. He’s the biggest threat the islands have seen yet, so bring your strongest team and prepare for a serious fight.

Three New Islands

Tropical Islands, Iceberg Island, and Shipwreck Island are now part of Palpagos. Each one offers new terrain, new vibes, and of course, new Pals.

This update also adds fishing, and it’s not just a side feature. Craft a rod, toss in some bait, and look for fish shadows to catch entirely new aquatic creatures. While you're out there, hop on a water Pal and try out the new salvage system, which involves digging up rare ocean-floor ores that can be used to power up your gear.

Trust Your Pals (Literally), and Let Zoe Join the Crew

NPCs across the islands are now offering missions with rewards worth chasing. A new questline for Zoe lets you earn her trust and recruit her to your team.

There’s also a new Pal Trust system. The more time you spend with a Pal, the more their stats improve. And after a long day of adventuring, your character and your Pals can now crash together at night. It’s weirdly wholesome.

New Languages Join the Party

Palworld’s audience just got a whole lot bigger. With this update, six new languages are now supported:

  • Spanish (Latin America)

  • Indonesian

  • Vietnamese

  • Turkish

  • Polish

  • Thai

Your Base, But Smarter (and Prettier)

New buildings have dropped, and they’re all about convenience and power. You can now edit Pal passives or change their gender with the Pal Surgery Table, hatch multiple eggs in the Large Incubator, and even access your Pal Box from anywhere in your base with the Palbox Control Device.

The Fishing Pond adds chill time at home, and yes, the Hexolite Quartz Mine is finally here. If you’re into decorating, a clean new building set has also been added so you can give your base that futuristic glow-up.

Weapons, Wind Currents, & Whistles, oh my!

The patch adds new firepower to your loadout: the Charge Rifle, Energy Shotgun, Overheat Rifle, Boost Gun, and Pal Recovery Grenade. The last two are designed specifically for tamers who want to support their Pals mid-fight.

A character with red hair and armor stands near a funnel of wind by a rocky, moss-covered cliff, with two small creatures nearby.

New items include whistles, a Growth Acceleration Bell, and fresh food recipes. Also worth mentioning, you can now find pockets of turbulence throughout the world that launch you sky-high. Sounds like exploration is going even more vertical.

Everything Feels Just a Little Better

Several mechanics have been adjusted for smoother gameplay. Pal skills now recharge even when not summoned, and mountable Pals have received speed and stamina buffs. Equipment durability can now be toggled, and food spoilage slows down when a cooling Pal is assigned to your flea market stall.

Lyleen’s Bountiful Protection has been upgraded to heal nearby allies, and the bounty hunter system has been expanded. Pal Condensation is no longer as essential, thanks to difficulty tuning on late-game bosses. Drop rates and skill strength have both been improved.

New Skins, Swimming Pals, and a Ton of New Skills

Three new Pal skins have been added based on the one-year anniversary poll: Crown Chillet, Cyber Jetragon, and Desert King Anubis. It's important to note that you’ll need to own the Pal to equip their new look.

A blue, rabbit-like creature wearing a crown and cape stands on grass, with a rocky background. A name and level appear above its head.

Pals can also now swim with brand-new animations and adjusted movement in water. Combat is getting a serious shakeup too, with a full list of new water, grass, ice, and unique skills, like Hydro Spin, Trigger Happy, and Konoha Flip, ready to experiment with.

A Bigger, Wilder Palworld Is Here

This update brings something new to almost every corner of the game. From massive raid battles to deep-sea salvage, expanded missions, and full language support, Palworld is more alive than ever. You can explore new islands, build trust with your Pals, and even unwind with them at the end of the day.
