How to Set a Server Password on a Romestead Server

Setting a password on your Romestead server is a simple way to control who can join your world. This is especially useful if you only want friends or specific players connecting to the server.

Note: Be sure to fully stop your Romestead server before making any changes!

Setting a Server Password

1. Open your Dashboard.

2. Navigate to your Romestead server panel.

3. Click on Game Settings from the left-hand toolbar.

4. Open the Basic tab.

5. Locate the Server Password section.
   Note: You can click the eye icon beside the password field to reveal the password while typing.

6. Enter your desired server password.

7. Click Submit to save your changes.

8. Start your server.
