Gameplay Adjustments

This update brings a series of refinements aimed at improving gameplay mechanics and accessibility. These changes focus on making battles more intuitive and Pals more versatile in various environments:

  • Pals now prioritize targeting the nearest enemy upon being summoned.

  • Large Pals stationed at bases now behave like smaller Pals, allowing them to navigate narrow passages and avoid collisions with ceilings or tight spaces.

  • Mammorest and Mammorest Cryst received some love and now feature an earth element, enhancing their strategic utility.

  • Killamari also wasn’t left behind and has been updated with a water element and gains the work suitability “watering.”

Balance Changes

This update introduces significant balance adjustments across various aspects of the game which help everything feel more balanced and enjoyable. Here are the changes in this area:

  • Reduced power requirements for the large electric egg incubator, along with a significantly larger battery capacity.

  • Improved targeting with an expanded reticle area for locking onto the same enemy more effectively.

  • Resolved stamina discrepancies between normal and Alpha Pals.

  • Treasure rewards from large oil rig chests have been reworked, excluding the uncommon plasma cannon blueprint. This is something that we all can be excited about.

  • Extended range for Advanced Bow damage drop-off by 1.5 units.

  • Reduced plasteel costs for crafting weapons and armor, making these items more resource efficient.

  • Faster crude oil production from the extractor, with increased efficiency at the Pal Labor Research Laboratory. (Cheers for this!)

  • Increased durability for weapons and armor crafted from specific blueprints, adding extra value to your creations.

Bug Fixes

A host of bug fixes have also been implemented to ensure smoother gameplay.

  • Resolved crashes during Pal surgeries at Dr. Brawn’s facility caused by negative passive skills.

  • Corrected the NEW notification in the building UI to disappear properly when starting new save data.

  • Those pesky treasure chests at the Oil Rig now respawn as intended.

  • Fixed lingering workbench effects.

  • Addressed a premature crossplay issue that allowed PS5 players to join Xbox games.

  • Corrected disappearing terrain glitches in certain areas.

It's Time to Celebrate!

This update is packed with improvements to help with gameplay. From equipping festive Spring Festival skins to exploring refined mechanics and enjoying bug-free adventures, we're excited to see these changes come into play.
