How to Find a Player UUID on a Hytale Server

Retrieving someone's Hytale UUID can be very helpful as a server owner if you wish to add them to the allowlist/whitelist, set permissions before they join, or if necessary, ban folks before they even have a chance to join your server. See some of our related articles for instructions here.

Convert from a Hytale Username to UUID

This can be useful if you want to manage a player on your server before they've joined, such as assigning them permissions, adding them to the allowlist, etc.

1. Open https://hytaleid.com/

2. At the input box at the top, enter the username you wish to convert

3. Click on "lookup", and then you'll be given the uuid back.

Convert from a Hytale UUID to Username

This can be useful if you want to find a player's data location on your server in the universe/players directory quickly and easily.

3. Click on "lookup", and then you'll be given the username back.
