How to Download your World from your Core Keeper Server
If you'd like to play on the Core Keeper world that you're currently using on your server, in singleplayer, or if you would like to have a backup of it for safe keeping, you'll need to download it onto your PC. We'll explain how with this guide!
Stop the Server
First and foremost, make sure to stop your server before doing anything else! Making changes while the server is still running may lead to file corruption.
Locate your World File
To do this, open your Nodecraft Pro panel and navigate to the "Server Files" section. You will need to locate the worlds folder on your Core Keeper server. This should be at: /DedicatedServer/worlds
If you have multiple worlds, make sure to double check which one you want to download. You can always view the one that your server is currently using by going to Game Settings > World.
Download the World
Now that you're in the worlds
folder, select the world file you wish to download by clicking the tick box beside the file. Once selected, the "download" button will appear. Click that and wait for it to finish downloading! You can also use FTP to download the world from your server. We have a guide here on how to do that if you aren't sure!
Adding the World to your Singleplayer Game
If you wish to play on your newly downloaded Core Keeper world in singleplayer, you will need to navigate to the location of the world files on your PC. By default, it should be: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Pugstorm\Core Keeper\Steam\[STEAM_ID]\worlds
As a tip: The AppData
folder is hidden by default so you may need to show hidden folders to find it!
Add the world there and you're done!
