Clearing the cache on your Garry's Mod server is relatively easy, and is highly recommended if you're finding yourself running out of SSD storage or swapping the addons you use frequently.

This doesn't remove any addon configurations, only files that your server will re-download if necessary!

Note: Be sure that your Garry's Mod server is fully stopped before making any configuration changes or setting updates!

Finding and Removing your Cache

There are three things that must be deleted on your server for it to count as removing the cache. If you don't have some of the folders or files listed below, don't fret! That just means you don't have any cache files to remove.

Note: We highly recommend you take a backup prior to deleting any files, just in case you make a mistake!

  1. Navigate to your Nodecraft dashboard.

  2. Click the Panel button for your Garry's Mod server.

  3. Stop your server.

  4. Expand the Server Files tab, and then click on File Manager.

  5. Open the steam_cache folder.

  6. Delete the folder named content and the file named appworkshop_4000.acf.

  7. Exit the steam_cache folder, then open into the folder garrysmod.

  8. Open the folder named cache.

  9. Delete the folder named scrds.

Conclusion

You should now have been able to remove all cache files on your Garry's Mod server, freeing up space that you can use.
