How to Enable PVP on Your Hytale Server
On a Hytale server, player-versus-player (PvP) combat is controlled by a setting in the server control panel. When PvP is enabled, players can damage each other during normal gameplay. When it’s disabled, everyone can build, explore, and stand suspiciously close to each other without consequences. 👀
The PvP setting can be changed at any time and takes effect after a server restart. Whether you’re setting up a competitive environment, testing combat features, or simply allowing friendly (or not-so-friendly) duels, this guide will walk you through where to find the PvP option and how to enable it.
Note: Be sure to fully stop your Hytale server before making any changes!

Using the Control Panel
Navigate to your Nodecraft Dashboard.
Click on the banner for your Hytale server to open the panel.
Locate and click Game Settings in the menu on the left side.
Under Hytale Server Settings, click the World tab.
Toggle on the Enable PVP option.
Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
Start your server.
