How to Set a Password on Your Counter Strike 2 server

Using the Control Panel

1. Navigate to your Nodecraft Dashboard.

2. Open the Panel of your Counter Strike 2 server.

3. Navigate to Game Settings on the left side.

4. Select the Basic tab.

   

5. Enter your desired password into the Server Password field.

6. Click the Save Changes button.

Using the server.cfg

1. Navigate to your Nodecraft Dashboard.

2. Open the Panel of your Counter Strike 2 server.

3. Navigate to Server Files on the left side.

4. Navigate to /game/csgo/cfg/.

5. Locate and open the file server.cfg.

   

6. Edit the line with sv_password "password" and enter your desired password between the quotation marks.

   Note: If the line does not already exist, add it to a new line.

7. Click the Save button.

3. Navigate to Game Settings on the left side.

5. Click on the Advanced Options toggle button.

   

6. Under the Startup Arguments section, click the Add button.

7. Type sv_password "password" into the field and enter your desired password between the quotation marks.

8. Click the Submit button to save.
