How to Configure your Voyagers of Nera Server
There are two files that manage different aspects of your Voyagers of Nera server: CustomGameUserSettings.ini
and CustomHostServerUserSettings.ini
. These files handle settings like the server's name, password, maximum players, and a few other options.
Nodecraft Server Control Panel
At Nodecraft, we offer a server control panel that allows you to easily change settings without navigating through server files. Click on Game Settings on the left side, then use the tabs near the top to access different options. Just make sure to stop your server before making any changes.
Basic Settings
The Basic Settings tab of the panel is pretty simple. Here you can set your server's Name, Password, Max Players, and Autosave Timer
Editing the CustomHostServerUserSettings.ini File Directly
You can also directly edit the file that manages all of these settings, if you prefer, through the File Manager in the panel.
You can find this file in the /BoatGame/Saved/PersistedData/CustomConfig
folder. Select the file and click the Edit button.
Make any changes you wish, and remember to Save to apply your changes.
Advanced Settings
The Basic Settings tab of the panel is pretty simple. Here you can set your server's multiplier rates for Gathering, Enemy Damage, and Player Damage. You can also disable or enable Construction Requirements, Equipment Durability, and Drop Items on Death.
