As Hytale continues to grow its community ahead of launch, the development team has introduced a way for players to directly support the creators who help shape interest in the game. This system is known as Hytale Creator Codes, and while simple on the surface, it plays an important role in how creators and fans interact!
What is a Hytale Creator Code?
A Hytale Creator Code is a unique, short code assigned to approved content creators by the Hytale development team. When a player enters one of these codes during checkout, a portion of their purchase is credited to the creator associated with that code.
Currently, creators receive 5% of the purchase value, with Hytale confirming that this share will increase to 7% in the future. No timeline has been announced for when this change will take effect.
It’s important to understand that creator codes are not discounts. Using a code does not reduce the price of Hytale for the buyer but instead, it redirects a small percentage of the purchase to support a creator directly.

How to Apply for a Creator Code
Content creators interested in receiving a Hytale Creator Code must apply through the official Creator Program. Applications are submitted by emailing: creators@hytale.com
Applicants are encouraged to include:
Details about the Hytale-related content they currently produce or plan to produce
Links to their platforms (YouTube, Twitch, social media, etc.)
Any relevant information that helps showcase their audience and reach
Creators who do not yet publish Hytale content but intend to do so are still eligible to apply.
The Hytale team has stated that applications go through a review process, and response times may vary. Applicants should expect some delay before hearing back.
How to Use a Hytale Creator Code
Players can enter a creator code during the checkout process when purchasing Hytale. The code is placed into the designated “Creator Code” field before completing the transaction.
While creator codes are currently limited to purchases, it’s expected that they may expand in functionality in the future, potentially allowing use within in-game transactions once Hytale is fully released.
